| The "Sphinx" stood at the corner of
Tinker Street and Mill Hill Road in Woodstock NY, for 15 years, until
it was destroyed by vandals one evening.
It was carved from a solid block of clay and hollowed out in preparation
for oxidation electric kiln firing.
